Data sources and freshness

Licence and facility data come from the public lists of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (including DATA.GOV.HK open data) and the Private Columbaria Licensing Board. We check them daily and show the source and the date last checked on every page. For licence details (approved plans, conditions), see the Licensing Board's website: we list only names, numbers, statuses and dates, with links to the originals.

Prices, religions and facilities are collected from each organisation's own website. They are always labelled “not verified”, with the source page and the date we read them. We never present website content as official.
